Frequently Asked Questions

I use MakerPoxy. MakerPoxy was a joint venture between myself and James Town Distributors based in Bristol, RI. The entire TotalBoat line, James Towns flagship epoxies, are made in the U.S.A. and cover every conceivable application.

I find that a heat gun is easier to control than a torch. A torch can cause the epoxy to become too hot in an instant. A heat gun, like the Wagner FURNO, offer more flexibility and control over the epoxy with less worry about “toasting” it.

Yes! I do offer 1:1 online classes. These consist of 1 hour, or 3 hour blocks offered via ZOOM or Skype. Please email me at here to request more information.

I love traveling! Typically store like Rockler and Woodcraft bring me in if there is enough demand for a class. I can also teach at local Art stores, or private classes. Please contact me here to request more information.
